Fast Food Calorie Counter – Nutrition Guide for iPhones
Many of us enjoy fast food – during lunch break, while on a commute or because it’s quick and convenient instead of cooking every night. One problem remains: we never know, whether we’re eating healthy or if it’s too much! Wouldn’t it be great to have something that tells you which of those hundreds of choices are the healthiest?
This is what your personal Fast Food Check is about: giving you access to hundreds of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, ice cream, lemonades and pizza snacks in a simple, intuitive way. We use the traffic light labelling system which has proven very effective for supermarket products to label fat, sugar or salt in bright colors. Lots of red means also lots of calories, so we have added this info, too. And because a burger is always sold “as is”, we have added the absolute weight of one portion / serving.
So in the end, you can look out for the healthiest choices by comparing items by color (more greens mean healthier products) or by calories. If you like to know if a Big Mac is better for you than a Whopper, just turn device into landscape mode, enter the portion size and it will tell you exactly how many calories, how much fat, salt or sugar is served to you each time!
There are hundreds of product choices and many more features available in the app such as a view to calculate your daily nutrition intake or the „TOP“ labels. So if you want to know all the little tricks, have a look at our user-guide or take a few minutes to read the instructions included with the app.
If you want to give it a try, download your copy of Fast Food Calorie Counter from the App Store right away or enter “FastfoodCheck” into iTunes search once you get there.
